Mascot Is Caught on Video Flipping Off Fans

Don't let that smile fool you. Mr. Met was upset after the New York Mets lost against the Milwaukee Brewers by a final score of 7-1. When fans heckled the mascot on his way up the tunnel, the usually happy-go-lucky character turned mean and stuck up his gloved middle finger at the rowdy spectators.

After this moment went viral on social media, the Mets didn't see any humor in it. Instead, they decided to fire the human inside the Mr. Met costume. Sounds harsh?
