After Rebecca May and her husband started working from home, they came to realize just how clingy their 10-year-old Ziggy really is.
"When she bonds with someone it's just really intense," May told The Dodo. "Her ears go flat and her eyes go black when she thinks you're about to sit. It's almost like your lap is a target and she is straight on there whether you're ready or not."
Ziggy's need to be comforted started to get in the way of their work, so they hatched up a genius plan: creating a fake lap.
May's husband stuffed a pair of pants and placed a heating pad in the lap of the pants and it worked like a charm!
